Making a Purchase
Once you have selected the items you wish to buy you can choose your delivery option (either post or collection) before the “Check Out” out stage. At the checkout you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order. If you require your items to go to a different address to your billing location an option is available beside the address form.
Prices quoted for each item are shown both net and gross in £’s sterling. VAT at the relevant rate is added at the checkout stage and we send a VAT invoice with every order.
We offer all our website goods on a payment-with-order basis. This means you must pay us, in sterling, when you place the order. We can take payment by most credit cards and debit cards through the website. We will only accept your order if we receive the payment in full.
Once an order has been placed, customers will receive an email confirmation of receipt of order.
We accept orders from most Northern Ireland, Great Britain and Republic of Ireland addresses. You may select a different delivery address from the card holder address details. Orders will be processed during the office hours 9.00am-5.00pm Monday to Friday. This excludes NI bank and public holidays. Goods will normally be dispatched within 3 working days.
If you have selected this option you can collect your order from the address above with no shipping charges.
We will deliver to most addresses in Northern Ireland, Great Britain and Republic of Ireland (except Highlands and Islands). For standard delivery, we use a national carrier and in most cases you should receive your goods within two working days from the date of order posting. For delivery to areas classed by the carrier as Highlands and Islands, please contact us for a quote.
We aim to keep enough stock to meet demand. However, at times when there is unexpectedly high demand, we may unfortunately run out. If this happens, we may delay sending out your order for a couple of days while we get new stock. If we are expecting a longer delay, we will use the information you have given with your order to let you know about our progress.
If you want to cancel your order, you can do so at any time until when we send it out. We normally pack and send out orders quickly so if you want to cancel your order, please call us on 028 9060 1450 as soon as possible. If we have not already sent the goods out, we will cancel your order and issue a full refund (including delivery charges) to the credit/debit card used to place the order. We will make the refund as soon as possible and within 14 days of cancellation. If we have sent the goods before you cancel your order, you can still get a refund by following the returns procedure set out below.
If you change your mind about a product or no longer require it, you can return it unopened / unused to us within 14 days of delivery for a refund. Postage fees are not covered by this, unless the item is faulty. Please email email@example.com to advise us that you intend to return the item/s and we’ll send you a returns form. Please complete the form and return it with the good(s).
Upon receipt of returned item we will make the refund, if applicable, as soon as possible and within 14 days of the return.
Faulty, Incorrectly Supplied or Damaged Items – 14 Days to Return
If we have supplied an item incorrectly, if it is damaged when received or is faulty when received you should notify us within 24 hours of receipt on 028 9060 1450 or firstname.lastname@example.org quoting your original invoice number and a description of the fault. We will supply a Returns Form which must be filled in and enclosed with the returned goods.
If it’s our mistake we will pay the carriage costs. If you received the wrong item, if the item you ordered does not work or works incorrectly, or your order was damaged in shipping, we will cover the cost of the return carriage. We will arrange with you the most convenient manner for the goods to be returned to us. Should we, after inspection of said items be satisfied as to the alleged defects we will either replace the goods or arrange a refund of the full value of the goods and any carriage costs incurred.
Every tool or product we sell comes with a manufacturer’s warranty.
We are constantly updating our products, prices and offers. We are confident of our technology and staff but we realise that we sometimes may make mistakes. If we offer goods for sale incorrectly, we will try to honour our offer. There may be rare circumstances where it is not possible for us to do this. In these cases, we will contact you and explain the situation. If we cannot sort out the matter fairly with you, we can refuse your order and refund any payment you may have made.
If things like strikes, wars, acts of terrorism or even small things like power cuts interfere with our business with you, we will do our best to keep things going. However, we will not be legally responsible to you for any failure which is due to these unexpected circumstances or any other situation outside our control.
